3rd Annual MS CROP 4 HOPE 2008 Sebring FL

I wanted to let everyone know about this awesome crop in Sebring FL coming up in November to benefit Mulitiple Sclerosis. There are quite a few scrappers from Bradenton already signed up so I wanted to get the information out here for those scrapbookers who may live in the area but don't know about it.

July 4th All Day Crop

The 4th of July all day crop is only a week away! We are going to have give aways, door prizes and fun! You can purchase $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win this July 4th red, white and blue tear bear layout donated by Vickie K.

The cost is $10 for the day and includes ribs and chicken from Woody's that will be served at 2:30. Please bring a potluck dish to share and let me know what you are bringing. I will update the blog as I know who is bringing what. We know of 10 who plan to attend, if you haven't already let us know you plan to attend please do so soon so we can plan accordingly. Just email us or leave a comment on the blog.

So far, we have a rice casserole, baked beans and dessert on the menu.

Heritage Layout Class with Judy

Do you love Heritage scrapbook layouts? If so, Judy is going to resume her Heritage page scrapbook classes again very soon at Inspiration Cafe in Bradenton. The scrapbook pages will be made using the Close To My Heart (CTMH) Silhouette Level 2 paper and will feature beautiful Heritage embellishments designed by Judy.

If you are interested in Heritage scrapbook page classes please let us know ASAP. We will be ordering the paper this Friday. Close To My Heart is also having a stamp sale that ends June 30th. Buy 2 stamp sets and get the third (equal or lesser value) for free. We will place an order Friday June 27th for the paper and stamps. Or if you already have a CTMH consultant you can order the Silhouette Level 2 paper pack and stamps from her.

Friday Night Crops

Our Friday night crop group is growing...three new but familiar scrappers joined us last night and plan to come again. I think we are going to need a few more tables before summer is over. ;- )

So if you have been thinking about joining us, well, just come on. The more the merrier!

KEETON'S ONLINE

Ok, am I the last to know or has Keeton's always been online and had the Artist's Corner?

I was so excited today, I received an email from Keeton's with a 40% off coupon! I remember signing up for emails ages ago (it seems) but never received an email until today. If you didn't get the email, go to the Artist's Corner and sign up to get on their email list.

There is a photo and it looks really awesome!!

For those of you who are just cruising blogs and don't know about Keeton's in Bradenton, Florida, they have a beautiful selection of rubber stamps and several aisles of stamping and scrapbooking products and a nice selection of idea books. If you are into stamping and altering items go check them out. I have purchased quite a few items there that most scrapbook stores don't carry, such as my Ranger Melting Pot for altering chipboard letters with UTEE and all the accessories, ATC blank cards, alcohol inks and of course, all of my daughter's art supplies. And the last time I was there, they carried all the Somerset magazines huhm...I need to find a link to Somerset. Found it and will add it to our scrapbook magazine list.

Flip Frame Project Kit at 4th of July Crop

Inspiration Cafe will be offering a scrapbooking project kit each month at the all day crop. The project designer will be available at the crop to answer your questions and assist you with the kit or if you prefer you can take it home and work on it using the instructions provided.

If you would like to make a Flip Frame project at the July 4th all day crop please let me know ASAP as I only have 2 kits left. The cost is $25 and includes the wooden flip frame, six 6x6 side opening page protectors and all of the supplies you need to make twelve 6x6 layouts. Everything is already stamped, embossed and ready for you to assemble.

4th Annual Life Crop Palmetto Florida

Come and join us for the 4th Annual Life Crop September 12-13, 2008 at Palm View Baptist Church, 415 49th St. E. Palmetto, Florida. There will be 24 straight hours of scrapbooking and paper crafting fun.

Scrapbookers can set up anytime after 5pm Friday and the fun continues until 7pm Saturday. There will be Door Prize drawings and Special Raffles.

The $40 registration includes Friday night car unloading and early set-up. Then on Saturday it will include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seating is limited so make sure and reserve your spot now!! For more information, please call 941-721-9056.

Get your PAID $40 registration in before August 29, 2008 to be entered in an Early Bird Registration Drawing.

All proceeds will benefit the North River Care Pregnancy Center, a 501(c)3 organization that has been in existence for ten years. They were started by the association of thirty Southern Baptist churches in Manatee County. They have a clear focus of sharing the love of Christ through word and deed. All services are free and confidential.

All Day Crop July 4th

We will be having an all day crop Friday, July 4th from 10A-midnight. The cost will be $10. If you are a scrapbooker living in the Bradenton or Sarasota area and would like to attend this all day crop, post a comment with your email address and I will send you the information and keep you updated as details unfold.

No Saturday Crop in June

We will be having Saturday crops starting in July. The all day crops will be the third Saturday of the month from 10A-midnight. The cost of the crop is $10. Please post a comment if you plan to join us.
